Leesburg, VA – Feb 25 – Association & Conference Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Kathleen (Kathy) Doran, to Association Services Group Lead. In this role, Kathy will leverage her extensive experience and expertise to lead and mentor a team of association management professionals, ensuring exceptional service and strategic guidance to our non-profit association, society, and trade organization clients.
Kathy brings over 20 years of experience in the non-profit and association management industry, encompassing both trade organizations and societies, with extensive expertise in CE compliance and maintenance. She has a proven track record of providing strategic guidance to clients, partnering with leadership teams to develop and execute strategic plans, and overseeing governance, policy development, financial management, and membership recruitment and retention initiatives. Her deep understanding of the unique needs of non-profit organizations, coupled with her focus on building relationships and promoting synergy to achieve organizational goals, makes her an invaluable asset to our team and our clients.
In addition to this promotion, Kathy serves as the Executive Director of the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR). In this role, she provides strategic counsel and support to the SSR Board of Directors, and is accountable for the SSR team, ensuring the highest level of service delivery. Before joining ACG in 2018, Kathy provided leadership, educational direction, and consultation to a diverse portfolio of clients, including Financial Executives International, The Hydraulic Institute, and the Commercial Real Estate Development Association of New York City. Additionally, Kathy served as the Training & Development Manager at Intel Corporation, where she oversaw strategic planning, needs assessment, design, and staff development.
Kathy holds a BA from Rutgers University, an MA from Montclair State University, and is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CP-SHRM).
