Since joining ACG in 2016, Valery has leveraged over 12 years of experience in association management to drive the company’s strategic growth. She has been instrumental in enhancing financial resources, boosting membership retention and engagement, and elevating brand awareness for ACG’s diverse clientele. Valery’s data-driven approach has consistently delivered exceptional results for client leadership while increasing value for all members. In addition to her strategic role, Valery oversees a dynamic team, providing essential supervision, coaching, and professional development.
In her new role, Valery will deepen client engagement by cultivating strong relationships, monitoring customer satisfaction, and staying ahead of industry trends. She will also be responsible for negotiating and managing service-level agreements, and recommending projects, operational standards, and improvements that align with ACG’s commitment to excellence.
About Valery Koontz
Valery began her career at the Camden County Bar Association, focusing on event management and membership recruitment. She then served as an account manager at L&T Health and Fitness, where she managed health-related events for government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and municipalities across the country. Valery’s ability to forge meaningful and lasting client relationships was evident as she managed over 40 clients. She holds a BA from Rowan University and earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from ASAE in 2023. When not at work or spending time with her husband and two children, Valery can be found learning about wine (she is a Certified Wine Specialist) and running.
