LEESBURG, VA – MAY 12, 2025 – Association & Conference Group (ACG) is pleased to welcome Karen Hill, MBA, DES, as Director of Meetings. In this role, Karen will leverage her 21 years of experience in event planning and meeting logistics to guide a team of meeting planners and lead ACG’s event planning strategy.
Karen, who will be presenting at the NESAE 2025 Annual Meeting this month, began her career as a meeting manager at a management consulting firm, where she was responsible for planning and coordinating over 100 meetings annually, ranging from 10 to 200+ attendees in the design/build industry. Building on her professional success, Karen moved to an accounts and events manager role with Stiles & Associates, where she managed hotel contracting, meeting logistics, and housing blocks from 10 to 450 rooms for a major television network.
For the past seven years, Karen worked for an association management company, coordinating a diverse range of events including networking functions, educational seminars, conferences, and special events for national and international associations. Over the past three years, Karen led and managed a team of coordinators and meeting planners, encouraging professional growth and focusing on overall staff engagement.
Karen holds a BS from Lasell College, a Meeting and Event Management Certificate from Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies, an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification from PCMA.
