Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic full-time Account Executive to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing relationships with multiple clients, overseeing a team of dedicated professionals, providing constructive feedback, and project managing initiatives to ensure successful outcomes. Your strategic approach to client management will contribute to the overall success of our organization. The candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, and be skilled in problem-solving and project management. This position requires attention to detail, organizational abilities, and the ability to be proactive. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client committees, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Lead a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for individual and collective success.
  • Foster a collaborative team culture, promoting open communication and a commitment to excellence.
  • Provide regular and constructive feedback to team members, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Lead and oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget..
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resources, manage timelines, and mitigate potential roadblocks.
  • Engage with all stakeholders including Board of Directors, Volunteers and Sponsors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, needs, and challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Regularly and promptly communicate with clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services to existing clients, contributing to overall account growth.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively propose solutions to enhance their experience and achieve business objectives.
  • Handle other tasks and projects as needed.


Qualifications:
(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

  • 5-7 years of experience in the events or association industry
  • CAE strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in account management, team leadership, and project management.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects and tasks.
  • Experience managing the financial aspect of an organization or event. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology solutions.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple clients is a plus.
  • Previous experience with strong knowledge of association management systems ex. SmartSheet, MemberClicks, WildApricot, MemberLeap, Aptify
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Dropbox
  • On site event management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.


Schedule:

This is a full time position, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekend work will be required to staff client events.
