On October 11th, approximately 28 Capital Chapter members and 22 SOME/CET students gathered to participate in the 4th Annual Speed Interview Jam. The event was hosted by the Community Service Team and held at MOI in Washington, DC. It was an incredibly memorable evening, providing the SOME/CET students an opportunity to improve their interview skills, elevator pitches, resume’s, while learning how to “Dress for Success.” Chapter members were inspired by the quality of student preparation and were also able to network with other chapter members and learn new skills for interviewing. The most memorable part of the evening was when students gave testimonials regarding their professional experience. We heard heartfelt and inspiring stories that reminded us that anything is possible. We are all looking forward to hearing about the success of the students after they graduate from the SOME/CET program.
